Hot pink high waisted skinny trousers, layers of ruffled plaid and bandana fabric, geometric and animal printed tops, and every color pair of tights or leggings imaginable anxiously bounced around backstage at the Downtown Doll premiere fashion show. With makeup inspired by the bloaks of Stanley Kubrick's 1971 "A Clockwork Orange" (if you have not seen this movie...tisk, tisk, tisk) and skirts so tight that a glass of champange was the only appropiate appertizer, a room full of musians, artists, designers, fashionistas, and tastemakers awaited to grace downtown Brooklyn with the arrival of Downtown Doll.
