To Lens or Not Lens....that is the question

Everytime I think that the 80's are dead a new trend (or old trend) resurfaces that secures the reign of this era in the fashion world. Channeling a time when rappers and street kids wore bright colored polyester track jackets, oversized hightops, and popped the lens out of their Gazelles... the lensless frame has returned. I first noticed this trend many months ago when i met "Face Hunter", a french reporter to slides around town (many towns) snapping photos of the fashion whores and sassy boys as they parade about. I quickly hopped on board as I popped the dark lens out of my $5.99 black plastic frames. Soon enough I began to notice European tourists dressed in girly vintage or skin tight trousers and pointy boots sporting the glasses sans the lens. Then I saw this trend growing rapidly amoungst young street kids in New York, dressed in bright colored Bathing Ape sneakers, matching hoodies with metallic detail and loose fitting demin worn with an exaggerated sag. Wow its amazing to see a trend hit and fashionistas from all extremes pick it up all at the same time. The question is... how long will it last?

Hey fellas! Get your hard...oops... heart ....on.

Stanley Kubrick's iconic saucey little vixen Lolita has made it big once again. With her classic style and brasien behavior, young girls everywhere longed to be her. Her girly sex appeal has always been a hit with the fellas but now straight men in heart shaped lunettes????? Tres Sassy!!!!!

Fancy Feet

As you know i am obsessed with footwear. On my everyday excursions through the city I have managed to snap a few styles that tickle my fancy.

Soooo...I found my shoes

If you got a chance to roll through our blog pages you may remember reading about my obsession with a pair of animal printed Pierre Hardy shoes that I just absolutley have to be insane to spend 500 bucks on but could not live without. So I set out on a quest to find a pair of similar mens shoes and alas I scored. In a tiny thift store in Atlanta GA there at half off after Christmas sale, i layed eyes on a pair of brown nubuck Rockports. They were a whopping $3.00 and YES....half off. Soooo.... $1.50 later i had my blank canvas for my Pierre Hardy inspired shoes. Once back in NY I picked up black paint at an art store and the compliments are all down the hill from there.
