A Non Grey Area

Black and white is poppping up in all the fashion magazines as the once again "it combination" to wear throughout the fall. Worn in a feminine old-fashioned style or with a crisp mod twist, this combination is big on the streets as fashionistas make it there own. Taking it even a step further are the major use of primary colors in general. As oversized polkadots finally make a much needed exit they are replaced with red and black buffalo plaids, royal blue houndstooth, navy and yellow geometric shapes, and deep violets. As grudge and early 90's reinvent themselves street kids take a non-literal approach to this trend by mixing these patterns in unusual ways (plaid layered over plaid and various color combinations of houndstooth) paired with metallic and floresent footwear. As brands such as TUK creep there way into main stream fashion much like their skinny jean counterparts we look forward to seeing them in even brighter colors and more eye popping prints.
